F A Q! (Frequently Asked Questions)

|
Are there due dates for finishing?
Yes, we have the following deadlines!
- Christmas—October 1st
- Halloween & Thanksgiving—First Tuesday after Labor Day
- Valentine’s Day—First Tuesday after New Year's Day
- Easter—Valentine’s Day
Great finishing requires adequate planning therefore we do not accept items past a due date unless a finisher agrees to finish the piece. Also, we do not process “rush orders.” If you unable to meet our time constraints we will gladly direct you to another finishing service. Please allow 4—6 weeks for most finishing. Allow additional time for items requiring special attention, such as, rugs, belts, and monogramming.
What about Lessons?
For those who wish to learn how to stitch lessons are available at $25.00 per hour. We also provide stitch guide services. Please call the shop to schedule an appointment.
Are there any guilds I can join?

The Birmingham Needlearts chapter of the Embroidery Guild of America (EGA) meets at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Cahaba Heights, on the second Thursday of the month.
